Objective

To ensure that the scope of work in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) accurately reflects the specifications and requirements of the part, minimizing errors and misunderstandings during the manufacturing process

Key Steps

1. Access the Scope of Work and ICP:
   • Navigate to the SoW and ITP tabs
2. Verify Data Entry:
   • Check that the scope of work has been correctly entered by the Intellectual Property (IP) owner. This data should be directly taken from the part specifications
3. Assess Need for Changes:
   • Determine if any adjustments are necessary. If the specifications are accurate, no changes are needed. If changes are required, proceed to the next step
4. Edit Specifications:
   • If changes are necessary, modify the relevant fields
   • Indicate whether specific requirements are mandatory or optional for the manufacturer
5. Review Quality Control Tests:
   • Check the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for the quality control tests that the manufacturer must complete
   • Make any necessary edits to the ITP, ensuring that all required tests are listed accurately
6. Save Changes:
   • After making all necessary adjustments, ensure that you save the updated scope of work in the ICP
7. Confirm Changes with Team:
   • Communicate any changes made to the team members involved in the RFQ process to ensure everyone is aligned
